Music by the Springs Festival

3 days of chamber music with friends at this gorgeous boutique festival in the heart of the Spa country. Music, food and wine all brilliantly curated by Festival Director Stewart Kelly. Repertoire by Schubert, Bach, Barvinsky, Popper, Queen and more.

In our first performance for 2025, Firebird Trio presents the iconic Ravel Piano Trio alongside some of Benjamin Britten's Sea Interludes arranged by our pianist Benjamin Martin. A quirky neoclassical work by Alfredo Casella and a surprise Beethoven offering complete the program. Tickets $35/25/20 with Full and Half Season passes available.
Premiere performance of the Imaginista Quartet alongside internationally renowned oboist, Emma Black. With Zoe Black and Liisa Pallandi (violins), Caroline Henbest (viola) playing on historical instruments in string quartets by Haydn, and virtuosic oboe quintets by Boccherini and Myslivecek. Performing with Firebird Trio for the good burghers of Geelong. This concert centres around Ravel's great Piano Trio (1914) with satellite works by Boulanger, Britten, Casella/Clementi and Stravinsky. Tickets $55/45/10
Bringing our program 'Music for Reflection' to the Orange Chamber Music Festival, EON presents a textured and timbral program by Bach, Edwards, Ravel, Ravenscroft and more. With violinist Rachael Beesley, I'll be playing cello, spoons and rainstick!
Frederic Chopin's Sonata for Cello and Piano was the last to be published in his lifetime. A work of magnificent scale and expression, it will be presented alongside works by Schumann and Franchomme. Full program to be announced soon! Tickets $25/20
