Death and the Maiden with Genesis Baroque

Experiencing Schubert's momentous work on gut strings will introduce audiences to the vivid colours and expressive sensitivities that Schubert intended, bringing it to new life. With brilliant colleagues Anna McMichael and Jennifer Kirsner (violins) and Meg Cohen (viola).

Ensemble Old and New at Lyrebird Music Society

Reuniting with intrepid colleagues violinist Racheal Beesley and percussionist Rob Cossom, Ensemble Old and New invites audiences into a reflective sound world, with a diverse mix of repertoire from Bach to Ross Edwards, Cossom, Henryson and Messiaen. Full program announced in due course.

A joyous connection between three musical friends. It's always a thrill to perform alongside Italian guitarist Massimo Scattolin and violin legend Erica Kennedy. Original compositions by Massimo alongside arrangements of Ennio Morricone.

A true season highlight to partner with these astounding musicians, Laura Vaughan (baryton) and Tim WIllis (viola) in a program of pure Haydn. This performance features Prince Esterhazy's favourite instrument, the baryton (think like a viola da gamba with a rich resonant sound cloud)

Run, don't walk to hear this year's MICMC held over 7 days in July. It was a real honour to be part of the audition panel with Wilma Smith and Caroline Almonte for this talented group of 14 ensembles competing for the Grand Prize, and a lot more besides.

'The Sweet Sacred' for Sunday Mattutino Series

The inaugural offering for this new series at my favourite venue, featuring the music of Bach, Lee Bradshaw, Caerwen Martin and Sofia Gubaidulina. Joining me for some sacred Bach chorales will be Marcus Ho, Henry Say, Jeannie Kim and AJ Singh. A special shout out to Mark Millward who is supporting this series with a complimentary glass of sherry and other tasty treats at the end of the recital.
