In our first performance for 2025, Firebird Trio presents the iconic Ravel Piano Trio alongside some of Benjamin Britten's Sea Interludes arranged by our pianist Benjamin Martin. A captivating program of chamber music by Ukrainian composers, I'll be joining musical friends violinist Markiyan Melnychenko and pianist Stewart Kelly for the lush, early 20th century trio by Vasyl Barvinsky, full of evocative Ukrainian folk melodies and dances.
